Since we are interested in looking at tumor metabolism, we looked under PKM2 since this has been an area of interest. With western blot, we looked to see if there was any expression difference when tumor cells were treated with a glutamine antagonist.

The antibody works extremely well and was extremely bright. Unfortunately our western showed there was no significant differences in expression levels.

The cost of anitbodies are always high
The antibody works well and specific. The bands showed up even when we did a lower dilution therefore it would require some titrating.
