Fluorescence Imaging Systems

Fluorescence gel imagers illuminate gels and blots with light at specific wavelengths to excite fluorescently-labeled nucleic acids and proteins. The resulting emitted light is then captured by filters and recorded by detectors for the visualization of electrophoresis results and blot analyses.
