Peptides Peptides are versatile research tools generated and purified by various suppliers for biological research. Many gene-specific peptides are conjugated to labels like biotin, polyhistidine, DDK, and GST for detection in various assays. Peptides are often used in Western blotting and immunocytochemistry to analyze protein expression and localization. In ELISA and other immunoassays, peptides help detect and quantify proteins or other molecules.
