Mouse Cell Lines

Mouse cell lines are established from primary mouse tissue explants for use in many cellular research areas, including basic cell biology, gene expression studies, disease research, and the production of biological products like proteins, viruses, and other compounds. Propogated cells come from a variety of tissues and organs, such as liver, neural segments, blood, tumorigenic cells, and fibroblasts. Embryonic neural cells are cultured from the hippocampus, pituitary, cortical, striatal and several additional derivatives of the central nervous system (CNS). Engineered cell lines are available from cardiac, neural, and fibroblasts among others. Recombinant murine cell lines, which are used to study different biological pathways, are generated through methods such as transfection with vectors, irradiation, and chemical treatment. Many of the mouse cell lines offered contain a knockout gene or a resistance to antibiotics. Wild-type, unmodified cell lines are also available. Visit the mouse cell line supplier for more detailed information, including cell line validation, purity, and more.
