Multi-Block PCR Machines

Multi-Block PCR machines are built with independent sample heating blocks, allowing users to run individual PCR reactions in parallel. This ability offers busy labs the flexibility to run multiple experiments or test different amplification protocols, thus saving time and increasing lab throughput. Options of different blocks may include dual 48-well or dual 96-well blocks, 30-48 combined block, 96-well blocks and 384-well blocks. Other features to consider when choosing a PCR thermocycler are types of heating block, gradient options, heated lid to prevent condensation, machine footprint, touch screen options, and the capability to upgrade to a real-time PCR thermocycler in the future.
