This BioRad thermal cycler is one of the best PCR machine for gene expression studies and molecular biology. Very user friendly software with a touch display allows to add and delete PCR steps, modify temperature and duration very easily. This software is very quick in process and doesn’t take much time or hang while modifying. Created programs can be labelled and saved for future use in a specific folder. Multiple users can make their own profile and protect it with password. Different reaction modules comes with this PCR like 48/48, 96 and 384. However, 48/48 allows two users to work on two different program at the same time. The gradient temperature help in identifying the correct annealing temperature. Very easy and fast to start and quick to shut down as well. The temperature maintained by the lid protect the sample from evaporation.
Genotyping, cDNA synthesis, End-Point gene expression studies, Insert amplification in cloning and other related genomic studies.
Please do not tighten the lid very much as the grip goes gradually, also see to your PCR tubes if it is closed properly, before starting the machine.
