PTPRU ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type U, which is encoded by the PTPRU gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a tyrosine-protein phosphatase, which dephosphorylates CTNNB1. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1446 residues, a mass of 162.4 kDa, and is a member of the Protein-tyrosine phosphatase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is notably expressed in the brain, pancreas, and skeletal muscle; less in colon, kidney, liver, stomach, and uterus; not expressed in placenta and spleen. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated, cleaved and phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include PCP-2, PTP, PTP-J, PTP-PI, PTP-RO, PTPPSI, PTPRO, and FMI.
Some PTPRU ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
