These Ubc9 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Ubc9 in biological samples. Ubc9 is an alias of the human UBE2I gene, which encodes the protein, ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 I. Notably, Ubc9 is known to play a role in cell division and the regulation of transcription, among other functions. The UBE2I protein is described to be 158 amino acid residues in length and 18 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is found to be expressed in heart, skeletal muscle, pancreas, kidney, liver, lung, placenta and brain. This protein is known to be sumoylated and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include C358B7.1 and P18. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
