These HSP70-HOM ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of HSP70-HOM in biological samples. HSP70-HOM is an alias of the human HSPA1L gene, which encodes the protein, heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 1 like. The protein is known to be a molecular chaperone implicated in a wide variety of cellular processes, including protection of the proteome from stress, folding and transport of newly synthesized polypeptides, activation of proteolysis of misfolded proteins and the formation and dissociation of protein complexes. The HSPA1L protein is described to be 641 amino acid residues in length and 70.4 kilodaltons in mass. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in spermatids. Other names for this target antigen include HSP70-1L and HSP70T. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
