These TFIIB ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of TFIIB in biological samples. TFIIB is an alias of the human GTF2B gene, which encodes the protein, general transcription factor IIB. Notably, TFIIB is known to play a role in transcription by RNA polymerase II, among other functions. The GTF2B protein is described to be 316 amino acid residues in length and 34.8 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the nucleus and chromosomes of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in the inner cell mass forming the embryoblast. This protein is known to be acetylated. Other names for this target antigen include TF2B and transcription initiation factor IIB.
There are TFIIB ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 1.25 pg/mL and as high as 4000 pg/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
