KRT13 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein keratin 13, which is encoded by the KRT13 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in cytoskeleton organization and epithelial cell differentiation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 458 residues, a mass of 49.6 kDa, and is a member of the Intermediate filament protein family. It is reported to be expressed in some epidermal sweat gland ducts and in exocervix, esophagus and placenta. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally O-glycosylated. The KRT13 gene has been associated with the disease, White sponge nevus. Other alias names for this target include CK13 and K13.
There are KRT13 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.625 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
