These A1AT ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of A1AT in biological samples. A1AT is an alias of the human SERPINA1 gene, which encodes the protein, serpin family A member 1. The protein is known as an inhibitor of serine proteases. The SERPINA1 protein is 418 amino acid residues in length and 46.7 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. Its subcellular localization is in the ER, extracellular matrix, and is secreted. In terms of tissue specificity, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. This protein is known to be N-glycosylated and cleaved. Other names for this target antigen include A1A and AAT.
Some A1AT ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 781.25 pg/mL and as high as 5000 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
