These TrkC ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of TrkC in biological samples. TrkC is an alias of the human NTRK3 gene, which encodes the protein, neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase 3. Notably, TrkC is known to play a role in GTPase activation and cardiac tissue development, among other functions. The NTRK3 protein is 839 amino acid residues in length and 94.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 5 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be widely expressed but mainly in nervous tissue. This protein is known to be phosphorylated and glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include GP145-TrkC and gp145(trkC).
The detection range for different TrkC ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 62.5 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
