DRG2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein developmentally regulated GTP binding protein 2, which is encoded by the DRG2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the conversion of GTP to GDP through hydrolysis of the gamma-phosphate bond in GTP. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 364 residues, a mass of 40.7 kDa, and is a member of the OBG GTPase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported be highly expressed in skeletal muscle, heart and kidney. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated and cleaved. Other alias names for this target include TRAFAC GTPase DRG2 and translation factor GTPase DRG2.
