MAGEL2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein MAGE family member L2, which is encoded by the MAGEL2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is suspected to be enhances ubiquitin ligase activity of RING-type zinc finger-containing E3 ubiquitin-protein ligases, possibly through recruitment and/or stabilization of the Ubl-conjugating enzyme (E2) at the E3:substrate complex. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1249 residues and a mass of 132.8 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in placenta, fetal and adult brain. The MAGEL2 gene has been associated with the disease, Schaaf-Yang syndrome. Other alias names for this target include PWLS, SHFYNG, nM15, MAGE-like protein 2, melanoma antigen family L2, necdin-like protein 1, protein nM15, and NDNL1.
The detection range for different MAGEL2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
