PRDX6 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein peroxiredoxin 6, which is encoded by the PRDX6 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a thiol-specific peroxidase that catalyzes the reduction of hydrogen peroxide and organic hydroperoxides to water and alcohols, respectively. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 224 residues, a mass of 25 kDa, and is a member of the Peroxiredoxin protein family. It is known to be localized in the lysosomes and cytoplasm. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include AOP2, HEL-S-128m, LPCAT-5, NSGPx, PRX, aiPLA2, p29, and 1-Cys.
There are PRDX6 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 7 ng/L and as high as 2000 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
