These HIF1 alpha ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of HIF1 alpha in biological samples. HIF1 alpha is an alias of the human HIF1A gene, which encodes the protein, hypoxia inducible factor 1 subunit alpha. Notably, HIF1 alpha is known to play a role in angiogenesis and the cellular response to hypoxia, among other functions. The HIF1A protein is 826 amino acid residues in length and 92.7 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in most tissues with highest levels in kidney and heart. This protein is known to be glycosylated, ubiquitinated, sumoylated, acetylated and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include HIF-1alpha.
Some HIF1 alpha ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 4 pg/mL and as high as 120 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
