The Tie2 ELISA kits listed below are analytical tools for measuring concentrations of Tie2 in various samples. Tie2 is an alternative name for the human TEK gene, which encodes the protein, TEK receptor tyrosine kinase. It has been mentioned that Tie2 plays a role in angiogenesis and cell to cell signaling, among other functions. Structurally, the TEK protein is 1124 amino acid residues in length and 125.8 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, cytoplasm, and is secreted. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in umbilical vein endothelial cells. This protein is known to be glycosylated, ubiquitinated, cleaved and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include CD202B, CD202B, and GLC3E.
Some Tie2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 400 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
