KRT19 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein keratin 19, which is encoded by the KRT19 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be involved in organization of myofibers. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 400 residues, a mass of 44.1 kDa, and is a member of the Intermediate filament protein family. It is reported to be expressed in a defined zone of basal keratinocytes in the deep outer root sheath of hair follicles. Other alias names for this target include K19, K1CS, keratin, type I cytoskeletal 19, 40-kDa keratin intermediate filament, CK-19, and CK19.
There are KRT19 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 2.5 pg/mL and as high as 90 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
