PHEX ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein phosphate regulating endopeptidase X-linked, which is encoded by the PHEX gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported peptidase that cleaves SIBLING (small integrin-binding ligand, N-linked glycoprotein)-derived ASARM peptides, thus regulating their biological activity. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 749 residues, a mass of 86.5 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase M13 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is notably expressed in ovary. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The PHEX gene has been associated with the disease, Hypophosphatemic rickets. Other alias names for this target include HPDR1, HYP, HYP1, LXHR, PEX, XLH, phosphate-regulating neutral endopeptidase PHEX, and HPDR.
Some PHEX ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
