OPLAH ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein 5-oxoprolinase, ATP-hydrolysing, which is encoded by the OPLAH gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the cleavage of 5-oxo-L-proline to form L-glutamate coupled to the hydrolysis of ATP to ADP and inorganic phosphate. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1288 residues, a mass of 137.5 kDa, and is a member of the Oxoprolinase protein family. The OPLAH gene has been associated with the disease, 5-oxoprolinase deficiency. Other alias names for this target include OPLA, OPLAHD, 5-oxoprolinase, 5-oxo-L-prolinase, pyroglutamase, and 5-Opase.
There are OPLAH ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
