GABARAP ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein GABA type A receptor-associated protein, which is encoded by the GABARAP gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a ubiquitin-like modifier that plays a role in intracellular transport of GABA(A) receptors and its interaction with the cytoskeleton. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 117 residues, a mass of 13.9 kDa, and is a member of the ATG8 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles, golgi, and cytoplasm. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved. Other alias names for this target include GABARAP-a, MM46, gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor-associated protein, GABA(A) receptor-associated protein, epididymis secretory sperm binding protein, and ATG8A.
Some GABARAP ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 39.06 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
