NRP1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein neuropilin 1, which is encoded by the NRP1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be a cell-surface receptor involved in the development of the cardiovascular system, in angiogenesis, in the formation of certain neuronal circuits and in organogenesis outside the nervous system. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 923 residues, a mass of 103.1 kDa, and is a member of the Neuropilin protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, mitochondria, cytoplasm, and is secreted. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include CD304, NP1, NRP, VEGF165R, transmembrane receptor, vascular endothelial cell growth factor 165 receptor, and BDCA4.
The detection range for different NRP1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 3.906 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
