These KATII ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of KATII in biological samples. KATII is an alias of the human AADAT gene, which encodes the protein, aminoadipate aminotransferase. Notably, KATII is known to play a role in metabolic processes, among other functions. The AADAT protein is 425 amino acid residues in length and 47.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported be highly expressed in the liver. Other names for this target antigen include KAT2 and KYAT2.
Some KATII ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
