The Forsyth Institute is an oral health research organization focusing on biological research, clinical service, and public health outreach. The Forsyth Institute maintains several research core facilities, including the Forsyth Multiplex Core. This core was established in 2013 and provides biomarker analysis services to their in-house research team as well as other academic research labs, hospital-affiliated labs, pharmaceutical companies, start-ups, and other research-focused groups, both locally and internationally.

The Core uses MILLIPLEX® multiplex assays to perform biomarker analysis on many sample types and for many research areas. They offer services to researchers where core personnel will aid in project design, panel configuration, sample optimizations, and assay conditions based on extensive experience, and ultimately prepare and perform the full analysis to provide the researcher with understandable results.

“MILLIPLEX® multiplex assays are high quality, reliable kits to detect low concentration markers such as cytokines, for use in limited volume samples…The ease of panel customization and ordering as well as the simple assay protocols save time both before and during analysis, allowing us to go from planning to execution quickly. MILLIPLEX® kit preparation is organized, and protocols are easy to follow.”
