Anti-DNMT3A2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the DNMT3A2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DNMT3A gene, which encodes DNA methyltransferase 3 alpha. This protein is known to function in pathways of aging and the cellular response to hypoxia, among other biological roles. The human version of DNMT3A2 has a canonical amino acid length of 912 residues and a protein mass of 101.9 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include HESJAS and M.HsaIIIA. Some DNMT3A2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
