Anti-Heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 1 like antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene HSPA1L in humans. The gene may also be known as HSP70-HOM, HSP70-1L, HSP70T, hum70t, heat shock 70 kDa protein 1-like, and epididymis secretory sperm binding protein. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 70.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
