Anti-P135 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the P135 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DCTN1 gene, which encodes dynactin subunit 1. This protein is known to function in the cell cycle, among other biological roles. The human version of P135 has a canonical amino acid length of 1278 residues and a protein mass of 141.7 kilodaltons, although 6 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include DAP-150 and DP-150. Western Blot is the most common application for the P135 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
