Anti-p104 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target p104 is a known alias name of the protein natural killer cell triggering receptor, encoded by the NKTR gene in humans. This 1462-amino acid residue protein is a reported PPIase that catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides and may therefore assist protein folding. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for p104 include NK-tumor recognition protein and NK-TR protein.
