Anti-MS4A16 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MS4A16 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MS4A14 gene, which encodes membrane spanning 4-domains A14. This protein is known to function in receptor-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of MS4A16 has a canonical amino acid length of 679 residues and a protein mass of 76.6 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and notably expressed in the testis. MS4A16 is a member of the MS4A protein family.
