Anti-KKA3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the KKA3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the KIR2DS4 gene, which encodes killer cell immunoglobulin like receptor, two Ig domains and short cytoplasmic tail 4. This protein is a known receptor on natural killer (NK) cells for HLA-C alleles. The human version of KKA3 has a canonical amino acid length of 304 residues and a protein mass of 33.6 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells. Other names for this target antigen include CD158I, KIR1D, and KIR412.
