Anti-DAGL(ALPHA) antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the DAGL(ALPHA) antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DAGLA gene, which encodes diacylglycerol lipase alpha. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of DAGL(ALPHA) has a canonical amino acid length of 1042 residues and a protein mass of 115 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the hippocampus, cerebellum, and adrenal gland. Other names for this target antigen include C11orf11 and DAGL(ALPHA).
