Anti-FAM204A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein family with sequence similarity 204 member A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 233 amino acid residues and a mass of 27 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein FAM204A. FAM204A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These FAM204A antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
