Anti-TAIF antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The TAIF antigen is another term for the human protein interleukin 32, encoded by the IL32 gene. The protein is a reported cytokine that may play a role in innate and adaptive immune responses. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 234 residues and a mass of 26.7 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is notably expressed in lymphocytes. Other alias names for TAIF include IL-32alpha, IL-32beta, and IL-32delta. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for TAIF antibodies.
