Anti-Beta-TrCP antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Beta-TrCP antigen is another term for the human protein beta-transducin repeat containing E3 ubiquitin protein ligase, encoded by the BTRC gene. The protein is reported to be a substrate recognition component of a SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 605 residues and a mass of 68.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is reported to be expressed in epididymis. Indicated applications for Beta-TrCP antibodies listed below include Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
