Anti-Mgl1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Mgl1 is a known alias name of the protein LLGL scribble cell polarity complex component 1, encoded by the LLGL1 gene in humans. This 1064-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in neuronal development and cytoskeleton organization, among other biological processes. It is localized to the Golgi and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the brain, kidney, and muscle but is barely seen in the heart and placenta. Other synonyms for Mgl1 include DLG4, HUGL, and HUGL-1. These Mgl1 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
