Anti-YL1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target YL1 is a known alias name of the protein vacuolar protein sorting 72 homolog, encoded by the VPS72 gene in humans. This 364-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of transcription and the regulation of apoptosis, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for YL1 include CFL1, Swc2, and TCFL1.
