The S Tag is a 15-peptide (KETAAAKFERQHMDS) epitope tag derived from pancreatic ribonuclease A or RNase A. It can be attached to the N- or C- termini of proteins and can be targeted by antibodies. Antibodies against this epitope may be useful in the detection or purification of recombinantly expressed S-tagged proteins.
