Anti-OR51B4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 51 subfamily B member 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 310 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR51B4 is known to be involved with the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 51B4 and odorant receptor HOR5'beta1. OR51B4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR51B4 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
