Anti-IL-18 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene IL18, or 'interleukin 18' in humans. The 193-amino acid protein is a member of the IL-1 family and antibodies to the IL-18 antigen may be useful for studying cytokine signaling. The cellular localization is predicted to be secreted.
