Anti-SRY-box transcription factor 11 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene SOX11 in humans. The gene may also be known as SRY box 11, MRD27, transcription factor SOX-11, and SRY (sex-determining region Y)-box 11. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 46.7 kilodaltons in mass. The SOX11 marker can be used to identify Gray Matter Neurons.* Based on gene name, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
