Anti-Tumor susceptibility 101 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TSG101 in humans. The gene may also be known as VPS23, TSG10, tumor susceptibility gene 101 protein, and ESCRT-I complex subunit TSG101. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 43.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
