Anti-Angiotensinogen antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene AGT in humans. The Angiotensinogen protein has a reported amino acid length of 485 and an expected mass of 53.2 kDa. The protein may also be known as Angiotensin II, ANHU, SERPINA8, hFLT1, and alpha-1 antiproteinase, antitrypsin. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including plant, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
