Anti-Presenilin 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PSEN1 in humans. The gene may also be known as PRE1, X-PS-alpha, X-PS-beta, ACNINV3, AD3, and presenilin-1 isoform I-467. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 52.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
