Anti-Early growth response 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene EGR1 in humans. The gene may also be known as Zif268, AT225, G0S30, KROX-24, NGFI-A, early growth response protein 1, and EGR-1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 57.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
