Anti-HCELL antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The HCELL antigen is another term for the human protein CD44 molecule (Indian blood group), encoded by the CD44 gene. The protein is reported to be a cell-surface receptor that plays a role in cell-cell interactions, cell adhesion and migration, helping them to sense and respond to changes in the tissue microenvironment. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 742 residues and a mass of 81.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and is secreted. It is notably expressed in fibroblasts and urine. Other alias names for HCELL include CDW44, CSPG8, and ECM-III. Flow Cytometry is a widely used application for the HCELL antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
