Anti-Tet methylcytosine dioxygenase 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TET2 in humans. The gene may also be known as KIAA1546, MDS, methylcytosine dioxygenase TET2, and probable methylcytosine dioxygenase TET2. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 223.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
