Anti-Myosin binding protein C, cardiac antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene MYBPC3 in humans. The gene may also be known as CMH4, CMD1MM, FHC, LVNC10, myosin-binding protein C, cardiac-type, and C-protein, cardiac muscle isoform. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 140.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
