Anti-Ribosomal protein L26 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene RPL26 in humans. The gene may also be known as DBA11, 60S ribosomal protein L26, and large ribosomal subunit protein uL24. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 17.3 kilodaltons in mass. The RPL26 marker can be used to identify Hippocampal Gyrus CA4 Neurons.* Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
