Anti-TTPAL antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein alpha tocopherol transfer protein like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 342 amino acid residues and a mass of 38.5 kDa. TTPAL is believed to act as a protein that binds a hydrophobic ligand. Synonyms for this target antigen include tocopherol (alpha) transfer protein-like. TTPAL gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for TTPAL antibodies.
